We learned about and discussed STATED/IMPLIED THEME in works of literature. We also learned about and discussed the importance of DIRECT/INDIRECT CHARACTERIZATION.

- We then used what we learned about Direct/Indirect Characterization and applied it to our reading of "Thank You M'am". We had a chart we were filling in as a small group while scanning the short story for our information.
